Pet health insurance is definitely useful and can save you money in case accidents or illnesses ever arise..because you never really know or plan for them to happen.
I enrolled my Yorkie earlier this year after doing a lot of research and shopping around for policies and signed up with Trupanion pet insurance . They have been very helpful already, as we had to file an accident claim for Stuey. I don’t know what i would have done if he wasn’t insured because having him insured, I was reimbursed within a few days.
What I like about trupanion is that you can pick your own deductible so you can budget it correctly, they pay 90% of your vet bill, their premiums don’t increase with pets age, as it does with most other companies, and they cover hereditary and congenital disorders.
Pets are a part of my family and i think pet insurance is important to have. Definitely worth looking into i think.
