When looking for bulk pet supplies theres a few key points that you need to keep in mind and look for. A lot of people that try to cut corners end up going with suppliers that are either un-responsible or you could end up ordering from someone that found some supplies that fell off a truck. Mainly you want to make sure you look for suppliers that state that it is an extra stock deal, or talk to the vendors and find out where they find the stock that they’re selling. With that said and in mind, there isn’t a downside with buying from wholesalers and/or bulk sellers as long as they don’t require a minimum order quantity that you’re uncomfortable with. Here’s an example from what I’ve looked at – and I know the pricing is consistently changing but I’ll list off what I see as of right now with a few bigger name brands, to show you first hand how much you can save with specific vendors. For all purposes with this, I’m going to compare using two of the properties that I own (so yes, I can ensure quality and show you how we obtain the rates that we do) with the pricing of some of the bigger end stores that you’ve most likely heard of.
I’m going to start off with Frontline. I’m going to use the Frontline Plus 1-22 lbs 3 month pack.

It’s amazing what can be done when companies aren’t trying to just outright control the pricing on all products and take up the margins. Definitely check out Pet Meds Surplus for some of the deals I’ve put up.
